Samantha grew up in a small town just north of Kansas City. After graduating from Lathrop High School , she earned her Bachelor of Science in Public Relations at Northwest Missouri State University. In Samantha's free time she likes to enjoy time with family & friends, scrap booking, shopping and her 3 dogs. Her favorite part of working at Burleson Orthodontics is talking to all of the great patients!
Danielle comes to Burleson Orthodontics with extensive customer service and management experience. She recently received her 5-Star customer service phone certification in record time! Congratulations Danielle and welcome to the team.
Amy attended high school in a very small town just south of Kansas City. She went on to earn a Bachelor's Degree in International Business from College of the Ozarks. After graduation, Amy moved back to the Kansas City area and married her college sweetheart. She lives with him in Parkville where they just purchased their first home and when she is not spending time with her family, friends and tiny dogs, Fiona and Chuckie you will be able to find her baking cupcakes and roller skating as "Billie Club" with the Kansas City Roller Warriors. Amy enjoys helping people every day obtain the smile of their dreams.
Becky grew up in the Kansas City Area and loves her community so much, that she recently returned from New York. She has worked in the dental field for 11 years, specifically in orthodontics for 5 years. Her favorite things to do in her spare time are traveling and spending time with her family. She enjoys all of the patients that she gets to see and loves helping them achieve the smile of their dreams.
Ashley has been working at Burleson Orthodontics since 2007. She currently is a third year dental student at UMKC, so you will mainly see her on Saturday mornings. Ashley loves to read and spend time with her husband and two dogs. Her favorite thing about orthodontics is the chance to talk to and help all of our wonderful patients!
Laura grew up in the Northland and graduated from Oak Park. She is married and has two "crazy" dogs. Laura has always had a passion for working with kids and loves being a positive influence in their lives. Laura "loves working at Burleson Orthodontics" and "seeing the beautiful smiles that come out of our office."
Laura was born and raised in Parkville, MO, where she graduated from Park Hill South in 2004. She attended Concord Career College and received her diploma in dental assisting. Laura's favorite part of Burleson Orthodontics is working alongside an awesome team who truly loves to make every patient’s smile the best that it can be and more. When she's not working, Laura enjoys family time with her husband, daughter and dog, shopping, and can always appreciate a good comedy.
Megan was born in Ft. Smith, Arkansas, but has lived in Kansas city for the majority of her life. She graduated from Oak Park high school in 2006 and then went on to Park University to study elementary education. After deciding to switch careers, she went on to get her cosmetology license. Megan has had a passion to go into dentistry for years, and working at Burleson Orthodontics has definitely confirmed this. I love seeing the beautiful smiles that leave! When Megan is not at work she enjoys traveling and spending time with family and friends. She also has a huge dog named Gus, who takes up a lot of her free time!
Jenny grew up in Overland Park Kansas. She is married and has three BIG dogs. Jenny loves to run and participates in many of the local 5-10K runs and half marathons. She also enjoys spending time with friends and family, shopping, and boating. Jenny is always looking for a way to brighten someone’s day and make a difference so being a part of our team couldn’t be a more perfect fit because it gives her the opportunity each and everyday to be a part of helping patients achieve their perfect smile.
Anna has received her Degree of Associate of Applied Science in Dental Assisting and Expanded Functions from Ozarks Technical Community College in Springfield, MO. She loves spending time with her eight nieces and nephews who all live in Kansas City. She enjoys getting to know her clients and working in an environment where she can serve others. Anna is currently attending the University of Missouri-Kansas City and will be earning her bachelors degree in Chemistry and plans to apply to dental school following her degree completion.
Ashley is originally from southwest Iowa and travelled south after high school to Maryville, MO, where she attended and graduated from Northwest Missouri State University with a BS in Psychology and minor in Sociology. After graduating from NWMSU, she moved to Kansas City and in her free time a few of her favorite things to do are reading, watching movies, yoga, traveling, and trying new restaurants. Ashley enjoys the patients she sees and helping them achieve their new, beautiful smiles.
Jenni is originally from Omaha, Nebraska. She recently moved to Kansas City to pursue her career in the dental field and make this her permanent home. Previously, Jenni was a Real Estate Broker. Jenni's future plan is to stay in orthodontics and take classes at UMKC to further her goals in this field. Jenni comes from a small very close-knit family in Nebraska & enjoys outdoor water activities such as swimming, camping, boating & water skiing. She also loves wine tasting. Jenni is actively involved in the community and currently volunteers for the Kansas City Special Olympics and Big Brothers Big Sisters. Jenni's idea of a perfect afternoon would be to take her dog to the park on a nice spring or fall afternoon & enjoy a picnic with a few close friends.
Our office has one of the highest-trained teams in the country. As a teaching office, our talented doctors frequently start working with Burleson Orthodontics as a stepping stone to opening their own practices across the country. Dr. Ballou is an incredibly-talented orthodontist. We were fortunate enough to work with Dr. Ballou in 2010 while he was finalizing his plans to purchase a practice in Texas.
