One of the most difficult things that you have to do when you have braces is FLOSSING. Many children, teens and even some adults =x don’t really know how to floss with braces. Some even think that they aren’t suppose to floss at all if they have braces. In reality, daily flossing is important especially more important when you have braces. The reason is you are more likely to have food particles trapped in your braces, bands and wires, which would could increase your risk of a cavity.
Flossing can be a complete pain and hassle, especially if you have braces. Be prepared to spend three times as long on your oral care while you have braces on your teeth. Not to worry, it’s completely worth it when you see your pearly whites after your orthodontic treatment. You also increase your risk of gum disease, if you do not floss.
Although flossing with braces is tricky, just like everything else, PRACTICE MAKES ME PERFECT. Check out these tips for flossing with braces.
