Patients in California spend nearly 25% more than patients in the rest of the country for dental care. The average annual cost per patient for 2007 was $813 per patient, compared to $643 for the rest of the country.
In Florida, insurance companies will pay 27%, on average, for their patients’ bills while in Ohio, the amount increases to 48.5% of the bill.
